Object and Motivation

This capstone project was conducted in collaboration with Astrolabe Analytics, a company focused on accelerating battery innovation through better data infrastructure. The project addresses a critical bottleneck in the battery research and manufacturing sectors: the lack of standardization in data collected from multiple sources such as cell-level testing, cycling experiments, and open-circuit voltage measurements. These datasets often differ in format, structure, and naming conventions, resulting in significant time spent by data scientists on manual cleaning before any analysis can begin.
